London, and England as a whole, is always associated with bleak and dreary overcast weather. However, Londoners have added a bit of bright color to the names and facades of some of their establishments.
A few of my military occasions brought me here instead of some of my dreadful US Army outposts. When taking my vehicle, I took the P&O Ferry, and later on without the car I traveled via the new EuroStar and the Chunnel. Not sure what surprises Brexit has to bring on travel from the continent.
The lead picture today reminded me of a painting I’d seen in an exhibition: Piccadilly Circus, London by L.S. Lowry shows the same building, with part of it already a giant billboard in 1960.
