It’s a local tradition here that folks take to the beach on New Years Day. Mainly to walk off the excesses of a 2 week Holiday over Christmas. Hours after the New Year Celebration many are still unfit to drive and Foot Power becomes the order of the day. With 10 miles of sand , thousands walk the beach to get a clear head and meet up with old friends. With Temperatures around 50f its a good location to ride the new bicycle for Kids and take Granny in her new wheelchair for a spin. Family day out !
