Gould Cabin, Fairbanks

Situated in downtown Fairbanks, near the city’s Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center, sits an old log cabin.  The cabin was built in 1910 by Walter and Mary Ellen Gould and has stood on this spot for more than 100 years.

The cabin dates to the early years of Fairbanks and is typical of pioneer cabin residences, the building retaining its historic integrity.
