Deadline near for Canada flight pass

If you’ve got a few thousand and a yen to fly all over Canada—any flight, any destination in the country—you have just a couple of days left to buy an ‘Infinite Canada Pass’ from Air Canada. Oh, and you also have to want to spend a lot of time flying at a time when most folks don’t feel much like flying at all.

The pass comes in one-, two- and three-month versions and in three classes, Standard, Flex and Latitude. Actually, they are all pretty ‘flex;’ they offer unlimited travel, seat selection, changes, and all taxes and fees. It’s open only to members of Air Canada’s Aeroplan loyalty program, but flights don’t regular points-for-miles; instead each month is worth 5, 10 or 15 thousand points, depending on tier. Flex gets access to better seats, and Latitude gets lounge access and business/first class seats.

The passes, which cost $2260CAD a month for Standard, $2825 for Flex and $5650 for Latitude start their 30-day countdown from the day of purchase.
