Giverny: As Monet Might Have Seen It

Claude Monet spent the last forty or so years of his life and work in a small village in Giverny, a small village just barely into Normandy, where he created his gardens, painted, and received visits from friends, colleagues and admirers.

While his gardens have become a popular attraction for visitors, and shops and inns and a museum have grown in the area, many corners of the village have barely changed from how he saw them.
