Swan Lake, Rockefeller Preserve State Park, NY

Swan Lake. Rockefeller Preserve State Park

The Rockefeller Preserve is an almost 1800 acre park that was donated to New York State by the family in 1983. It was originally part of Kykuit, the family estate in Mount Pleasant, NY. The park has over 25 miles of trails, but my favorite is the loop around Swan Lake. I recently had the chance to walk there as the leaves were just begining to change into their fall colors.
