Mission Accomplished: All Fifty States!

In May of this year my husband and I accomplished a goal that we had been working on for several years—WE VISITED ALL FIFTY STATES!

Sometimes it still doesn’t seem real. Many have asked why Delaware was our last state and after we visited Alaska a few years ago, we decided to save Delaware for our last state as it was the first state to ratify the constitution. Before our trip, I created a sign which employees at the state capitol in Delaware, many flight attendants and even a pilot signed when they found out about our achievement. We also got some shirts that we wore the days we first visited Delaware.

It was so fun to share this amazing day with others who asked which state was our favorite or least favorite. It is still hard to answer these questions as there is something so wonderful and interesting in each state. I will say any state with water is one of my favorite, lol. If you are working on this goal yourself, keep going and you will achieve it. Here are a few pictures from our 50th state adventure.
