These equine fashion plates are waiting for tourist passengers outside Vienna’s Albertina Palace/Museum, one of the many remnants of Habsburg rule in Vienna’s central city “inside the Ring,” a reference to the circular boulevard that traces the route of the city wall, torn down in the 19th century.
The Albertina was the palace of Duke Albert, a high-ranking noble who happened to be an avid art collector. His collection is the core today of a museum housing more than one million masterpiece prints and drawings, including some collections on permanent loan. Click HERE for more info.
