CONWAY CASTLE – NORTH WALES

No visit to the UK or Europe is complete without at least one visit to a Castle.

Wales had 400 Castles at its Historical peak. Now its just over 100.

Some are just ruins and rubble. But I enjoy going to Conway (in Welsh – Conwy) Castle.

Its enormous and you can walk around the inside.

It dates from the 13th Century and has been under siege at least 4 times in its long history.

Most visitors I take around here are surprised that this part of Wales speak the Welsh language. Nothing like any other you’ve heard. Of course they speak English too so you’ll have no problems !
