Norway’s National Police Directorate announced the design for the country’s new passport from Neue Design Studio. It features on it’s passport pages a reductive depiction of a Norwegian landscape .Under UV light, the Northern Lights glow.

DrFumblefinger explores the architecture in “Downtown Casablanca”. Most were constructed in the period between WWI and WWII, and show art deco and art nouveau features combined with Moroccan/Moorish features.

In my experience, much of the fraud is perpetrated online so a photo is irrelevant.

Actually, Citibank offered that option some 20-25 years ago, and I had my picture on one. It didn’t really add anything to security; the clerks never looked at it any more than they look at signatures now. That’s why chip-and-PIN beats chip-and-signature: unlike the counter clerk, the machine DOES check for authentication!
One day someone will put a photo of the bearer on Credit Cards and eliminate fraud !
