The budget Brazilian Airline Azul got approval for flights between Fort Lauderdale and the Sao Paulo/Campinas area of Brazil by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration. Service will begin Dec 2. Azul will also add service to Orlando starting Dec 15.
Azul’s founder and CEO, David Neeleman also founded Jet Blue and was CEO until 2007.
