It’s been the veil of mystery hiding the Bat Cave. it’s involved with Dr. Who. It’s appeared in Merlin and the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. And now it’s more accessible to fans, visitors and…dare we say?…pilgrims.
Fearful that increased traffic might cause damage to the area which lies along a popular hiking trail and is of special scientific interest, officials of Brecon Beacons, which is operated by National Trust Wales, have built steps and a 40-metre boardwalk to provide the desired views while protecting sensitive territory. At 27 metres, it is southern Wales’ tallest waterfall.
