CheapAir, which a few weeks ago became the first U.S. online travel agency to book passengers for flights to Cuba, but only through other countries such as Mexico or Panama, has now begun to offer direct non-stop flights.
That’s become possible through CheapAir’s partnership with Cuba Travel Services, one of the licensed charter operators that’s been operating such flights for years. With the easing of restrictions on travel, there’s more demand for the flights.
Havana flights are available from Miami, Tampa and New York; from Miami there are also flights to Camaguey, Santiago de Cuba, Cienfuegos and Holguin.
