Sometimes I like to return to the small town where I was born when I visit my dad. Morris is about 40 miles south of Winnipeg (where my dad lives) and the drive across the flattest land in the world is a pleasant way to spend a half day, especially when the wheat fields are ripe. Not too much has changed in Morris, which is still a sleepy place decades later.
Much to my delight, as we were driving through town this past summer we stumbled on this beautiful car sitting on a driveway. Of course we had to stop and I went out to get some photos of this 1936 Chevy. Can’t recall if it was there when I was a youngster, but it sure is a classic. I believe this is the 1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe sedan, but if anyone knows more about it, please add a comment.
A Jewel with a thousand stories to tell.
I hope it hibernates for the winter.
Most classic cars in Canada are stored away for the winter.
