Archaeologists uncovered what they call Britain’s “Pompeii.” They discovered these Bronze age circular houses ( dated 1000-800 BC) at Must Farm Quary, in Cambridgeshire.
Fire destroyed the posts of these houses that were built on stilts and that caused them to fall into a river. Silt helped preserve the contents and they even found meals still in pots.
