If you’ve seen IBM’s commercials, you know how smart Watson is, and Panasonic has long been known for connected. Now they’re working together to make smart connections for visitors at hotels, airports, museums and more.
The technology for the robot concierge uses a “digital mirror” that guests can speak to, get information from, even have extended conversations with to get information on service, shopping, transportation, weather and more.
The two are also working on hooking up Watson with LinkRay, a Panasonic development that lets users point a mobile device with the LinkRay app at a sign or light source to receive information from it.
