It required a double take when I drove past this “bug” while leaving the town of Kenora in northwestern Ontario, and ultimately a U-turn to have a better look. This was not your usual VW bug as it had 8 legs and was about 12 feet tall. Situated on the grounds of an Auto Body shop, this fun customized car was not the only unusual vehicle about but certainly the most memorable.
Nearby on the same Auto Body grounds was a rusty vintage International Harvester tow-truck. I have no idea what year it was made in but I’m sure if it could talk it would have some fantastic tales to share…Iike who Ferge was and what he was like?
The most fun I’ve had all week!
And I’ll bet the welders had fun, too!
