There’s an unusual art exhibit on through October in Münster, Germany. For a start, it’s only on every ten years, and for next, it features large and radical works by a variety of contemporary artists.
This year’s Skulptur Projekte Münster features 35 works by artists from 19 countries…so many that some of the works are on display in the nearby city of Marl.
Among the works in the show are Nicole Eisenman’s ‘Sketch for a Fountain,’ above, and Mika Rothenberg’s ‘Cosmic Generator,’ below.
Another spectacular item is interactive: Ayse Erkman constructed a bridge across a local canal, just below the surface, so that visitors crossing it appear to be walking on water.
