Feb. 7, 2018: Cheers on Beacon Hill, Boston

Last summer I was in Boston for work but got to explore a little while in the area. One of the interesting places I was able to visit was the Cheers bar on Beacon Street, which is on the north side of the amazing Boston Public Garden.

Cheers2Formerly known as the Bull & Finch Pub, this venue was the inspiration behind the 1980s and early 90s hit sitcom. The TV show premiered on September 30, 1982, and remains one of America’s most beloved situation comedies of all time. I still enjoy watching it every so often and was very happy to be able to have my picture taken in front of the famous sign.
