June 13, 2018: DC Tower 1 – Vienna, Austria

While running around Vienna and checking out the Danube, we couldn’t help but notice the DC Tower 1.  It was very tall and quite unique. We found out it is 220 metres high (250 metres including the antenna spire which makes it the tallest skyscraper in Austria . Its stunning architecture definitely dominates the city’s skyline.

The DC Tower 1 was officially finished with an opening ceremony on Feb 26, 2014 by Buzz Aldrin. I couldn’t stop taking pictures of it, even though it had been raining and wasn’t in the best light. It was still nice to look at.
