After 4 months with no rain and record breaking temperatures, England is now slipping back into “cool with showers.”
Where I live in northern England, September marks the end of Summer. The apples are ready to pick from the trees a month earlier than last year. They’re starting to fall off the tree each day. Tomatoes and grapes in the greenhouse will continue until the first frost.
Scotland – 200 miles North of Liverpool – has just had its first overnight frost.
With temperatures in the 60s and 70s, I love this time of year.
I’m a big fan of fall, too. Especially the beautiful colors of foliage when first touched by frost.
