I’d heard of pigeons taking over a park before, but nothing quite of this scale!
Situated in a small park near the Canadian Museum of History was a creation of contemporary art from the duo of Cooke-Sasseville. Entitled, “The Odyssey”, it features 3 gigantic pigeons studying a can of Campbell’s tomato soup — except this can is about 3 meters tall!
There is (or was) a similar piece of art in Quebec City about 7 or 8 years ago. It’s possible that this piece was moved to Gatineau, and that it might move on again in the near future.
The flowers in the park were lovely as well!
