Toronto’s Pearson International Airport has a new twist on airport food with a pilot program that combines airport food concessions with Uber Eats to deliver food to you at your gate.
HMSHost, which operates the food concessions at the airport under a host of well-known brands will provide the food—burgers, shawarma, smoked meat, burritos, whatever—to the delivery operation that’s an offshoot of the ride-sharing service.
The six-month trial will run until the fall, and is available to both domestic and international travelers at Gates B22-B41 and C30-36.
