Where in the World is TravelGumbo (#339)

Gumbo’s off on another adventure, this week visiting an unusual historic site.  Our first clue is shown above — for our younger generation — that round thing with numbers is a rotary phone dial.  You need to turn the wheel as just pushing the numbers won’t connect your call.

There will be new clues posted each day which will guide you towards a specific solution, and we’ll discuss this destination next Monday.  Keep checking in, observing, suggesting, reading and commenting along with your fellow readers. Good luck!

THE RULES

  1. Share your suggestions, hints, observations and discussions with others by posting them here as comments…
  2. If you absolutely know what and where it is….please give others some time to work on it  before you pounce.  Email us your answer to [email protected] We acknowledge everyone who correctly answers the puzzle when the ‘reveal’ is posted on Monday in the order these answers are received.
  3. To leave a comment, you need to be a member…but that’s free and easy.  Just click HERE.

So, where is Gumbo visiting this week?  We are looking for the name of this place and the city in which it’s located.  Good luck!
