We have been to Texas a few times and I really like the San Antonio area. The Riverwalk and the Alamo are definite highlights you need to see while in the area. One thing that surprised me the first time we visited, besides that the Alamo is way smaller than most people think, is that they have little red trolleys running around.
Apparently it is called the San Antonio Trolley Tour and runs daily starting at 9:30 am. It is a 60-minute tour which takes you to the Alamo, Mission San Jose, Market Square and 50 points of interest. Here is a link to their site with more info. Happy travels..
