Gumbo heads off on another adventure. He finds himself at a delightful location that exudes history, cuisine, crafts and charm. Driving up a mountain forest road above the town in question is a religious place of meditation named for a famous person born in this region. My photo was taken on a very overcast and foggy morning.

So, where is Gumbo visiting this week? We’re looking for the name of the town, region and country in which it is located. Good luck!
I believe this building has recently changed hands from a souvenir shop to a restaurant along a primary pedestrian zone in the town. However, the façade is pretty much the same except for the name.
If you travel just a very, very short distance from the town, you will find a lot of photo opportunities for this bird that belongs to the family called Ciconiidae. I also found them to be very popular souvenirs from this region along with porcelain cookware and traditional dolls.
You probably know the region now, so a few glimpses of the town to narrow your guess.
How about some local cuisine? Grilled meats, pies of a sort, and also not pictured is a special style of pizza that is really popular.
Now, the very easy clues arrive. Building in the main town square and bell tower. Unveiling of the mystery is Monday. Stay tuned.
