The Falls and Gorge of the Saint John River is one of New Brunswick’s most beautiful places. It is located in the center of the town of Grand Falls. The Falls and Gorge look very different depending on the season you visit. In summer, when we went, you can see the huge rock formations.
It has a very nice Tourist Information
center with parking and a wonderful view. Behind the center there is a little walkway where you see some of the best views. There is also a zip line that goes over the width of the gorge.

There are lots of activities near the waterfall, like camping, golfing, hiking, boat tours and a rock climbing wall. Most of the attractions are only open in summer.
The falls are also home to the Grand Falls Generating Station, a hydroelectric dam that was built in 1931. It provides 66 MW of electricity to the area.
