With so many people working remotely, and, after a splashy start and partial rollback, so few willing to go all in on the ‘regular’ Las Vegas experience, MGM Resorts has come up with a new tack: offer its vacation rooms as remote office space for ‘work-cationing’ execs.
Under the title of “Viva Las Office,” MGM’s Bellagio and Aria are offering ‘home away from the home office’ packages at three different levels of amenities, labeled Associate, Manager and Executive. Each level gets access to an “Executive Assistant” who functions much like a concierge to coordinate details and make arrangements.
As the package gets higher on the scale, rooms get bigger and get better views, the included food and beverage credit gets bigger and the included extras such as pool passes and massages become lusher. There’s also a tiered discount on flights on JSX, a private charter service.
