Tennessee: We’ll pay to get you here

Tennessee’s Department of Tourism Development is putting up $2.5 million in airfare vouchers to draw visitors to hotels in the state’s four biggest markets for a two-night or longer stay.

The Tennessee On Me website offers booking links for a number of hotels in each of the cities—Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga and Knoxville—and a link to specify which airline. After the non-changeable, non-refundable booking is made, a digital voucher for American, Delta or Southwest is emailed.

The offer is open through September 15, with travel dates from July 11 and December 30. At least one of the two nights must be between Sunday and Wednesday, and only one voucher per room is allowed. Promotion ends when 10,000 vouchers have been claimed.
