Make Way for Ducklings at Boston Public Garden

Many os us have fond memories of a children’s book that introduced us to the Boston Public Garden. Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey is a wonderful story about the intersection of nature and the big city.

In 1987, Nancy Schön was commissioned to create a statue that commemorated this story. On a recent trip to Boston I found both the statue and and some real ducks to celebrate, although, apparently, the duck don’t believe in park rules.
