Reno is known as the “Biggest Little City in the World”. It seems appropriate that the Biggest Little Dog Park would be located in the heart of downtown Reno.
It’s the newest dog park in Reno, opening in 2018, and was built with the human and canine residents of the downtown core in mind. The park has Astroturf lined separate play areas for big and small dogs.
Before entering the play areas, there is an adjoining sand-filled pet relief area, lined with several murals that intuitively appeal to dog lovers.
The park has interesting benches….
And an unusual bike rack….
It’s a fun place. I understand that there is going to be an expansion of this dog park soon.
