Carnival is introducing a food ingredient program called Menu Mate that will allow passengers and crew to quickly plan meals and avoid allergy issues, using an app loaded on tablets.
The program works two ways. Guests enter their allergy information into the system. Staff can then use it to suggest menu options that suit the guests’ needs, or guests can use a Menu Mate tablet to explore options on their own.

We are always looking for new ways to help our crew enhance our guests’ experiences, and that’s exactly what this new program is doing on our ships for those with food allergies.”
