Last week I introduced “Lost in the 50’s“, an annual celebration of old cars, early Rock’n’roll and Americana. The event is held Sandpoint, on the shore of Lake Pend Oreille in the Idaho panhandle.
In that prior post we looked at some of the older cars that showed up at this year’s the Lost in the 50’s event. This week we’ll have a look at some of the newer cars — post 50s, including many convertibles and “muscle cars”.
Here’s some of what we saw:
(I thought the yellow and black a striking combination for this station wagon)
(A grand limo even showed up — didn’t catch it’s exact vintage)
1960 Nash:
1961 Corvette — a real beauty!
1961 Rolls Royce:
1963 Corvette — very rare model with split rear window:
1963 Corvette of more standard vintage:
1965 Dodge:
1967 Austin Healey:
The local Chevy dealer has an impressive collection of Corvettes, several of which he rolled out for this celebration.
