I’ve just returned from a rafting trip in Dinosaur National Monument, which began and ended in Vernal City, Utah. It’s in the heart of Utah’s “dinosaur country.”
Vernal is a nice community — not too large, not too small. Greeting people as they enter the eastern part of town is this huge pink dinosaur—a brontosaurus, I believe.
It’s hard not to be charmed by a pink dinosaur with lovely eyelashes.
