Inspiring Curiosity Exhibit, Naperville

Naper Settlement in collaboration with the Naperville Art League is pleased to present an exhibit featuring over 60 works of art by league members. On view in Naper Settlement’s main galleries, the exhibit features 36 local artists’ paintings, drawings, photographic images, and more based on the theme of curiosity. Several of the artists’ artwork explore their own curiosity about nature and the universe, others show moments of seeming curiosity of animals or children, and some reflects the artists’ desire to elicit curiosity in the viewer. The exhibit is on view through April 7, 2023.
Trout Fishing for Kids, Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s Wood Dale Grove Forest Preserve
Saturday March 25 8 a.m.- 12 pm
Admission is free. Kids ages 15 and under are invited to fish Grove Lake after it’s been stocked with rainbow trout. There will be some equipment available for use, but participants are encouraged to bring their own gear. Bait is provided.
Cantigny’s annual Easter Egg Hunt returns! Wheaton
April 2, 2023 10 am- 4 pm
Stop by for some colorful family fun. Each child may only redeem five (5) eggs for a prize. If your child collects more than five we suggest that you re-hide the surplus eggs for other families to enjoy. You may take the five eggs per child collected to the prize redemption area located near the Tank Park and restrooms. One prize per child.
- Don’t miss a springtime hike along the winding trails of the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, home to over 222,000 plants from 40 countries.
- Lombard is home to the Enchanted Castle Restaurant, which is a family entertainment center with go karts, laser tag, bumper cars, rides, mini-bowling, inflatables, a two-story playland, games & more.
- Brookfield Zoo is also known as the Chicago Zoological Park. It sits on 216 acres and is home to over 400 species of animals.
