I totally enjoy all the subjects captured by masterful photographer Ian Cook.  According to Wikipedia, this statue commonly referred to as the “Golden Boys” is going to be relocated to an undecided location, and the three men are looking at the plans of a steam engine.  The “Industrial Revolution” was born in hotbed cities like Birmingham where scientists and engineers came together to collaborate in the development of so many inventions much as some other cities seemed to draw master painters and artists.  Birmingham had many more notorious inventors and chemists that contributed to mechanical manufacturing and processing.
