It’s easy to find articles ad nauseam about people behaving badly on planes, but it’s clear there’s a lot annoying fellow passengers on long-distance buses as well.
At least it’s clear now, since Busbud, a global ground travel booking platform, took the trouble to ask its customers what bothers them most along the way. The study included 4,500+ passengers in six countries. Overall, the top bothers turned out to be
#1 Playing music loudly
#2 Participating in sexual activity
#3 Poor personal hygiene
#4 Smoking or vaping
#5 Talking loudly
#6 Passing gas or burping
#7 Leaving trash around their seat
#8 Arguing with other passengers
#9 Reclining the seat without asking first
