The “Rocco” defensive tower – St Ouens Bay. Jersey Channel Islands, U.K. It’s one of many fortifications along the Jersey coast, reflecting the island’s history as
Fourteenth century Bolton Castle is privately owned and still occupied, with the church of St Oswald nearby. The castle is in a remarkable state of preservation and is an impressive site overlooking the Yorkshire Dales.
