Air Canada bumps up Hawaii with 737 MAX

Air Canada is using some of its new 737 MAX jets to add new service between western Canada and Hawaii, and to double up some of the existing routes.

The newer, more economical planes will add seasonal service from Vancouver to Kauai and Kona, as well as doubling the year-round flights from Vancouver to Honolulu and Maui. From Calgary, there will now be seasonal service from October through April to Maui.

Other destinations that will be seeing the 737 MAX and added schedules include Cancun, Ixtape and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.
