Amsterdam's commuter rail services were disrupted Thursday by a pelican that didn't want its wings clipped.
The bird escaped the operation and flew off from the city's Artis Zoo, and found a hiding spot on the busy commuter rail line between the Muiderpoort station in eastern Amsterdam and the Centraal station.
Rail service was stopped while zoo staff tried to catch the bird. It was eventually captured and returned to the zoo for clipping. It's apparently not the first time for pelicans to try to escape the zoo, but the first time they held up a train!
