April 10, 2017: Sunset over the Bay of Fundy

While flying back to Calgary from vacation in Nova Scotia, I was lucky enough to be able to watch the sunset over the Bay of Fundy.  Like many of you, I try to get a window seat whenever possible because the show outside is generally a million times better than what’s playing on the small screen embedded in the seat in front.  It had been a rainy day, with the storm beginning to clear as we departed Halifax.  It didn’t take long before we were crossing the site of the world’s greatest tides.  It was a beautiful scene, difficult to capture — soft light, peaks of the ocean, billowy clouds, then facing to black…
