I believe this is the most unusual drinking fountain I've ever seen. It's an interesting exhibit spotted at Calgary's Sparks Center -- a family science and discovery-oriented museum.
I thought the exhibit did an excellent job of pointing out how perceptions affect us at a deep level. We generally think of toilets as waste disposal systems, and associate them with urine, vomit, feces and such. Definitely don't think of a toilet as a source of drinking water.
Who would drink from this most unusual fountain? Someone dying of thirst certainly would. My dogs would love it! But as it was a cool day and I was not thirsty, I passed on the opportunity.
What would you do?
