Avelo, Breeze continue growth

Two of America's newest low-cost airlines, both 2021 startups, are continuing to extend their networks and routes, with each now having routes touching half or more of the states.

Avelo's addition of flights from Central Wisconsin Airport at Wausau to its base at Orlando, Florida also adds its 25th state, two states ahead of Breeze's total.

Both airlines focus on non-stop connections between smaller markets, and flights to vacation-heavy areas. Breeze last week added eleven more routes to Florida from Ohio, New York, Virginia, North Carolina and more.
