Before the Storm, Green River, Utah

Utah has some of the most amazing desert landscapes in the world!  Think of Arches NP or Bryce NP as examples of this.

01 Green River

A few weeks back my wife and I camped in the town of Green River (situated, as the name implies, on the Green River).  In the morning as we were filling up on fuel before heading out on the road, we had this view of a snowstorm approaching town, with the backdrop of a colorful banded cliff.

In a few minutes, the cliff had disappeared, and the snow started falling.  These storms are fast moving and tend to pass quickly.
