A Liverpool judge, ruling in a test cast that may affect thousands of British travelers, has ordered airlines to stop delaying compensation they are owed for canceled or delayed flights. The airlines have placed millions of pounds worth of compensation cases on hold for various reasons, including saying that they are waiting for settlement of other cases in European courts.
