Brits in France: Hurry with the curry!

A group of 50 British expats living near Bordeaux are yearning for the food of home: Indian take-away, and are chartering a plane to bring it to them from a restaurant in England.

Not the A380 above, of course, but a small commuter-size plane to make the run this Saturday from Southsea, England. They’ve been claiming that there isn’t a decent curry to be had in France.

For the equivalent of about $44 apiece, they will dine on a menu that includes Chicken Tikka Massala, Lamb Balti, Bengal Naga Chicken and Vegetable Paneer Korai along with a side dish, rice and a naan bread.
