Whether you search London’s A-to-Z guide or open Google Maps, you won’t find a trace of Broccoli Lane among the winding streets of London’s East End, because it exists mainly in the mind of performance artist Adrian Boswell, who’s living the green life there.
Working out of a space in an old building on historic Brick Lane, he makes collages out of broccoli and broccoli-shaped objects, sells broccoli art, and literally makes a spectacle of himself… for his art.
And, he’s not above a sweet sentiment…
