Campbellton, New Brunswick is a small city on the banks of the Restigouche River that is surrounded by the Appalachian Mountain Range.
On the other side of the J. C. Van Horne Bridge bridge is Pointe-à-la-Croix, Quebec.
The city has a very interesting waterfront, which has some unique art including Restigiuuche Sam, a 8.5 meter stainless steel model of a salmon.
Campbellton also has a lighthouse that services as a youth hostel in the summer months.
