Dec. 30, 2017: Christmas at The Shambles, York

The Shambles, York, is a historic area of the ancient city that provides a quaint setting for small specialist shops. The buildings overhang the cobbled street and some date to the medieval period. I visited before Christmas and recorded some scenes of the area and shop fronts, which I hope reflect the “olde worlde” nature of the area.
