'Class Picture' gives new meaning to 'high school'

 

No, it's not a photo trick. The 14 students above are actually out there, hanging onto ropes on the side of a 2400-metre Alpine peak to publicize their school, the HES-SO at Verbier.

It's not the first time the university has staged stunts to publicize its location and the 'dynamism' of the programs at its four schools, which offer programs in engineering, health, management and tourism and social work—and, apparently, hanging onto the side of a mountain while two photographers and two drones set up an made the exposure.

Prior to the shot, the students had gone through a series of selection tests to see if they were up to it, including abseiling down a campus building.
